What is ICARUS?
ICARUS is a PvE survival game set on a terraformed planet, with Open World sessions, missions, crafting, building, hunting and resource progression. Dedicated servers are especially useful for Open World play because a prospect can remain available to the whole group instead of depending on one player-hosted session.

How much RAM should I choose for ICARUS?

Do my players need a Runic Hosting account?
No. The customer account belongs to the person managing the hosting service. Players connect through ICARUS using the game’s normal server connection flow.
Can I choose less RAM than the recommendation?
Selectable RAM options will be published with the ICARUS hosting product.
Where will my ICARUS server run?
Runic Hosting will publish the actual hosting location and network details before ICARUS becomes orderable.
Can I use mods, plugins or custom server settings?
Current game-specific support includes: Dedicated server · Server configuration. Third-party content can change resource use and compatibility, so the exact workflow depends on the game and server software.
Do I get file and backup access?
Yes. Every server includes 50 GB of NVMe storage, a browser file manager, SFTP and 3 backup slots with an automatic nightly backup stored off the game node.
