The Runic Hosting affiliate program has not opened yet. These Terms will apply to affiliates once signups open in the Client Area.
Refer new customers with your link and earn 15% of their first payment for each new server and 10% of every renewal. Track referrals and request payouts from your affiliate dashboard in the Client Area. Promote honestly and disclose that you are an affiliate.
The program
The Runic Hosting affiliate program pays commission to partners who refer new hosting customers. You join from the Affiliates page in the Client Area, where your referral link, referrals, earnings and payout requests are shown. We may approve, decline or pause affiliate accounts at our discretion.
These Terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service. You participate as an independent partner. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, franchise or joint-venture relationship, and you may not make commitments on behalf of Runic Hosting.
Commission
- 15% of the first payment for each new game-server service ordered by a customer you referred.
- 10% of each renewal payment for those services, while the service stays active and your affiliate account is in good standing.
- Commission is calculated on the hosting amount actually paid, after discounts and credits and excluding taxes.
- Free trials earn nothing until the customer pays for the service.
- Your affiliate dashboard is the record of your referrals and commission.
Referral attribution
A customer is credited to you when they sign up or order through your referral link, as tracked by the Client Area. The Client Area may store a cookie recording your referral code, as described in the Cookie Policy.
- Only customers new to Runic Hosting qualify.
- Referrals can be lost if a visitor blocks or clears cookies, switches devices or orders without using your link. We are not responsible for referrals the system cannot see.
- You cannot earn commission on your own account or on accounts you own, control or share billing with.
Refunds and reversals
If a payment is refunded, reversed, charged back or found to be fraudulent, the related commission is cancelled. If it was already paid out, we may deduct it from your future commission. We may hold or withhold commission connected to a suspected violation of these Terms while we investigate.
Payouts and taxes
- You request payouts from your affiliate dashboard. The minimum balance, available payout methods and processing times are shown there and may change with notice.
- Before paying you we may request tax information, such as a W-9 for US partners or a W-8BEN for partners outside the US, and may issue tax forms where the law requires it.
- You are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on your commission, and for any fees your payment provider charges you to receive it.
Promotion rules
Promote Runic Hosting honestly. Use the published prices, features and policies, and clearly disclose that you earn commission from your link, as required by the FTC and similar rules where your audience lives. The following are not allowed and can lead to lost commission and removal from the program:
- Bidding on “Runic Hosting” or close variations in paid search ads, or registering domains or social handles that use the Runic Hosting name.
- Spam, unsolicited messages, or posting your link where the community rules forbid it.
- Cookie stuffing, hidden or forced clicks, or any method that sets your referral without a real click.
- Fake discounts, false claims such as “unlimited” resources, or impersonating Runic Hosting staff or support.
- Paying or rewarding people to sign up through your link without our written approval.
- Referring yourself, your own accounts or accounts you control.
Brand assets
While you are in the program you may use the Runic Hosting name, logo and the assets we provide to promote Runic Hosting, without altering them. This permission ends when you leave the program. Game names and art belong to their publishers and remain subject to their terms.
Changes and termination
We may change commission rates or these Terms with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Changes apply to commission earned after they take effect. You may leave the program at any time. We may end your participation for a violation of these Terms, or with 30 days’ notice for any other reason.
When participation ends, you can still request payout of any eligible commission balance, except commission connected to fraud or a violation of these Terms.
No guaranteed earnings
We do not guarantee any level of referrals or commission. To the extent the law allows, Runic Hosting’s total liability to you under the program is limited to the commission owed to you for the three months before the claim.
