The free trial requires no payment and therefore has nothing to refund. If an eligible trial is converted to a paid server, the first paid order can still qualify for the 72-hour guarantee beginning when the paid Service is activated. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund time already used.
72-hour money-back guarantee
A newly registered customer may request a full refund of the service fee for their first eligible paid shared game-server order within 72 hours after the paid Service is activated. The guarantee is intended to give a new customer time to verify that Runic Hosting hosting works for their game and intended setup.
The guarantee applies once per customer, household, payment identity or organization and cannot be repeatedly reset by creating additional accounts or ordering and canceling the same type of Service.
Free trials
Runic Hosting’s standard launch trial is planned as a 24-hour no-payment-method trial for one eligible shared Service. Because no charge is required to begin the trial, ending or allowing the trial to expire does not generate a refund or account credit.
If the customer converts an eligible trial to a paid Service through the normal checkout flow, the 72-hour guarantee begins when the paid Service is activated after conversion, not when the earlier trial began. Trial eligibility and unpaid trial cancellation are governed by the Trial & Split Payment Policy.
Eligible refunds
To qualify under the standard guarantee:
- the request must be for your first eligible paid shared game-server order;
- the request must be submitted within 72 hours of paid activation;
- the Service must not have been terminated for fraud, abuse, illegal activity or a material policy violation;
- you must submit the request through the customer support channel or from the account email so we can verify the order.
RAM or resource upgrades purchased as part of the same first paid order are included in the refund when the underlying eligible Service is canceled inside the guarantee period.
Non-refundable items
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise at checkout, the following are not covered by the standard money-back guarantee:
- renewals of an existing Service;
- second or later paid game-server orders on the same customer account or payment identity;
- upgrades or add-ons purchased after the initial guarantee period;
- dedicated servers, custom hardware, reserved hardware or build-to-order capacity;
- third-party software, licenses, domains or other non-recoverable third-party charges;
- account credits, promotional credits and gift balances except where law requires cash redemption;
- Services suspended or terminated for fraud, chargeback abuse, illegal activity or serious Acceptable Use violations.
Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring paid Service at any time through the customer billing area or by contacting support. Unless you specifically request immediate termination, a normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term. You may continue using the Service until that date.
When cancellation becomes effective, future recurring billing for that Service is stopped. You are responsible for downloading any worlds, saves or other files you want to keep before termination. We may delete terminated server data according to the Terms of Service.
Renewals
Recurring hosting renewals are payments for the next service period and are generally non-refundable once that period begins. If you no longer want a Service, submit cancellation before the renewal date shown in your customer account.
If an accidental duplicate renewal, demonstrable billing error or payment-processor error occurs, contact support promptly. We may reverse an erroneous charge after verifying the billing record.
Split-payment refunds
When Split the Cost is offered, multiple payment sources may contribute toward a single owner’s invoice. A contribution does not give the contributor independent cancellation or refund rights over the owner’s Service.
If the underlying Service qualifies for an approved refund, we will determine how the refund is returned based on the original payments that funded the invoice. Approved amounts are normally returned to the original payment sources where technically and legally possible. A contributor chargeback or reversal can place the owner’s invoice into an unpaid state if the invoice is no longer fully funded.
See the Trial & Split Payment Policy for ownership and contribution rules.
Outages and service credits
An outage does not automatically convert a hosting payment into a cash refund. Where a specific Service includes a service-credit commitment, eligible credits are handled under the Service Availability Policy or the product-specific terms shown at checkout.
We may issue discretionary account credit when a material service problem falls outside a formal guarantee. Discretionary credits are not an admission of liability and normally cannot be exchanged for cash.
How to request a refund
Open a billing/support request from your customer account, or email gamerpulsegg@outlook.com from the address associated with the order. Include the affected Service or invoice identifier and state that you are requesting cancellation and a refund.
We may ask for enough information to verify account ownership and confirm that the request falls within the applicable refund period. You do not have to complete extended troubleshooting to use the standard 72-hour guarantee.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Payment processors and banks control the final posting time after we submit the refund. If the original method cannot legally or technically receive a refund, we may offer another lawful method or account credit with your agreement.
Taxes are refunded when required and where they were actually collected by the provider. Currency-conversion differences or payment-provider exchange-rate changes are outside our control.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact Runic Hosting before opening a PayPal dispute, bank dispute or chargeback. An unresolved payment reversal may cause the affected Service or account to be suspended while ownership and payment status are reviewed. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may lead to termination and loss of refund eligibility.
Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising a dispute right that applicable law or your payment provider gives you.
Statutory consumer rights
This Policy does not remove refund, cancellation, cooling-off or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived where you live. If mandatory law gives you greater protection than this Policy, the mandatory rule controls.
