Send a clear report with the affected IP, hostname, URL, server identifier or other information that lets Runic Hosting locate the issue. Do not send passwords or private keys.
Scope
Runic Hosting hosts customer-controlled game-server environments and may receive complaints about files, mods, plugins, server listings, network traffic or other customer activity. This Policy explains how we review those reports.
This page provides a practical copyright and abuse process. It does not claim that the provider has completed any government registration or statutory safe-harbor designation that has not actually been completed.
Copyright complaints
If you believe material hosted through Runic Hosting infringes your copyright, send a written notice to gamerpulsegg@outlook.com containing enough information for us to evaluate the claim. A complete notice should include:
- your name and contact information;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the location of the allegedly infringing material, including IP, hostname, URL, file path or other available identifier;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Knowingly submitting a materially false infringement claim may expose the sender to legal liability.
Counter-notices
If we disable material because of a copyright complaint and you believe the action was mistaken or the material was removed in error, contact us with the affected service information, an explanation of your rights to use the material, your contact information and any statements required by applicable copyright law. We may forward relevant notice information between the reporting party and the affected customer where legally appropriate.
Restoration timing depends on the law that applies, the quality of the notice and whether we receive a valid legal action preventing restoration.
Other abuse reports
Reports involving malware, phishing, stolen credentials, denial-of-service attacks, unauthorized scanning, fraud, illegal content or compromised servers should include:
- the affected IP address, hostname or service identifier;
- timestamps with time zone;
- logs, packet details, screenshots or error records that support the report;
- the type of abuse observed;
- contact information for follow-up.
For content posing an immediate threat to life or safety, contact the appropriate emergency authority first. We will respond to valid emergency legal requests through the appropriate process.
How Runic Hosting responds
We may investigate, preserve relevant logs, contact the customer, temporarily isolate a service, remove or disable specific material, suspend network access or terminate a Service depending on the seriousness and credibility of the report. We aim to use the least disruptive action that adequately addresses the risk.
We may decline reports that are incomplete, clearly fraudulent, unrelated to our infrastructure, or that ask us to decide a private dispute without sufficient legal basis.
Repeat infringement and repeated abuse
Accounts that repeatedly use Runic Hosting Services for infringement, malicious activity or serious abuse may be suspended or terminated under the Terms and Acceptable Use Policy. We consider the nature of the conduct, the quality of notices, customer responses and applicable law rather than relying only on raw complaint counts.
