Use the address from your service
A production server receives its real connection details only after provisioning succeeds. Use the address shown in the game panel or customer service summary rather than copying an example address from a guide.
Open Get Playing in your panel for your address and port, the version your server runs and the exact join steps for your game, with a Copy Address button and invite text you can send to friends.
Most games need both the address and the port. Keep the port unless your game’s guide says otherwise.
Connection checklist
- Confirm the server status is ready or running.
- Copy the assigned hostname or IP exactly.
- Include the assigned port if the game requires one.
- Make sure your client version matches the server version or modpack.
- If the connection fails, check the console for startup errors before changing unrelated settings.
